Commencement Bay Rowing Club Boathouse
The perennially dominant men’s and women’s crew
teams row on American Lake and share the boathouse with Pacific
Lutheran University and Commencement Bay Rowing Club. The 1998-1999
season was the first full year for the Loggers in the boathouse at
Harry Todd Park.
Located 15 minutes south of campus, American Lake is a beautiful
4-mile stretch of evergreen trees and private homes that provides
plenty of rowable water and magnificent sunrise and sunset views of
Mount Rainier.
