Fitness Center

Fitness Center

The Fitness Center was renovated in 1995. The University now has one of the finest-small college weight facilities in the Northwest. The Olympic weight room has added more space and new age machines for athletes, students, staff, faculty, and alumni to work-out on.

The cardio room in the fitness center is equipped with a multitude of aerobic and machines, including elliptical, spinning, treadmill and stair-climber.

Renovated and expanded in 2005, Logger athletes as well as members of the university use the cardio room for endurance strengthening, cardiovascular training and rehabilitation. Numerous classes are also conducted in the cardio room and Olympic weight room.

In addition to the cardio and weight areas, the fitness center also has a number of racketball courts, as well as a climbing wall, which is operated by ASUPS.

Varsity 8
Women's Crew

The women’s varsity eight made its 11th straight appearance at the NCAA Division III Rowing Championships last weekend. The Logger boat, along with all the other crews, faced some rough weather during both days of the championship, but all of the boats persevered and completed three 2,000 meter races over two days. The Loggers’ premier boat took eighth at the national regatta with its best race coming in the Petite Final on Saturday, according to head coach Aaron Benson. The national championships concluded a great season for the Loggers, who were dominant over their fellow Division III crews on the west coast all season long.
