Atrell House was named Puget Sound's head cheer coach in the fall of 2011. Prior to coming to Puget Sound she coached cheer for two years at Lakes High School in Lakewood, Washington, and for 16 years at Steilacoom High School in Steilacoom, Washington. Many of House's high school cheerleaders competed at the National High School Cheerleading Championships in Orlando, Florida. Several of those cheerleaders continued cheering after high school at the University of Washington, Washington State University, Eastern Washington University, Central Washington University, Western Washington University and the University of Hawaii.

House helped launch the Washington Cheer Academy. In addition several local awards, two of House's WCA teams won United Spirit Association national titles. 

House has helped the Logger cheer team grow from as few as four members to as many as 14 during her Puget Sound career.
