  • Puget Sound earns 111 NWC Scholar-Athletes

    Puget Sound earned 111 Northwest Conference Scholar-Athlete honors, the NWC announced Tuesday. Meghan Bacher '17 and Hans Fortune '17 both earned NWC First Team Scholar-Athlete nods. In order to qualify, NWC Scholar-Athletes must have a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA.
  • 2016 Logger Open a success thanks to friends, alumni

    More than 100 friends of Puget Sound athletics participated in the 2016 Logger Open at Allenmore Golf Course on Aug. 12. The event was made possible by major sponsors: Mary Jo Lunt-Wallo Insurance & Investments, Meridian Dental (the Walker Family), and Washington Patriot Construction LLC.
  • Twenty Loggers named to 2015-16 NWC All-Sportsmanship Team

    The Northwest Conference recently announced its 2015-16 All-Sportsmanship Team, which includes 20 Loggers. Student-athletes were selected by their respective teams and/or coaches for "displaying good sportsmanship throughout the season."

    Puget Sound junior quarterback Hans Fortune has been named a CoSIDA Academic All-American, the College Sports Information Directors of America announced on Tuesday. Fortune is on the Academic All-American Second Team, and he is one of two quarterbacks in the nation to earn an Academic All-American nod.
