Women's crew with strong showing at Daffodil Sprints

TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound women's crew team put on a strong showing when the Loggers hosted the Daffodil Sprints on American Lake Saturday morning.

Results

The women's varsity eight finished third overall with a time 8:06.40, just ahead of Division-I Seattle University (8:07.60), and just behind Division-II Western Washington (8:04.8). Humboldt state won the event, timing in at 7:52.90.

The women's second varsity eight placed second with a time of 8:43.0. Western Washington won the race in 8:40.0.

The Logger men are competing in the San Diego Crew Classic this weekend.
