Loggers complete first day of NCAA Championships

GOLD RIVER, California – The Puget Sound women's varsity-eight completed the first day of the NCAA Division-III Championships at the Sacramento State Aquatics Center on Friday.

The Loggers finished fourth in Heat 2 in the morning, timing in at 7:27.528. Trinity (Connecticut) won the heat with a time of 6:48.005. Puget Sound improved its time in the afternoon's repechage, coming in at 7:02.441, good for third place. Tufts won the race at 6:54.291.

Puget Sound will compete in the petite final against Washington College on Saturday, May 30, at 11:16 a.m.
