Loggers conclude WIRA Championships

RANCHO CORDOVA, Washington – The Puget Sound women's varsity-eight boat placed third in the petite final during the Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships on Sunday, and women's second varsity-eight finished fourth in its finals race.


The varsity-eight times in at 6:52.921, finishing behind UC Davis (6:45.771) and Seattle Pacific (6:50.351). The second varsity-eight crossed the finish line in 6:51.190, behind UC San Diego (6:46.198), Pacific Lutheran (6:49.886), and UC Santa Barbara (5:51.030).

The men's varsity-four placed sixth with a time of 6:44.459, and the novice-four came in fourth with a time of 6:47.671.
