Women's varsity-eight picks up second victory of fall season

PORTLAND, Oregon  - Puget Sound women's varsity-eight was victorious once again during the Charlie Brown Regatta hosted by Lewis & Clark on the Willamette River Saturday morning. It's the second victory for the WV8 this fall (American Lake Fall Classic).

Results

The Loggers' W2V8 placed third in the same race, finishing behind Lewis & Clark. In addition to topping the Pioneers, the Loggers' WV8 beat boats from Pacific Lutheran and Oregon (club).

Women's varsity four placed second in its race, finishing behind Lewis & Clark. The W2V4 took third in that race.  

Saturday marked the last regatta this fall for the Puget Sound women. The Logger men are scheduled to compete in the Head of the Lake in Seattle, Nov. 5.
