TACOMA, Washington – Puget Sound women's crew is stepping up to conquer childhood cancers. The Loggers are teaming up with the St. Baldrick's Foundation to raise funds and awareness to beat childhood cancers.
This Sunday, March 4, the Loggers and their supporters with gather in Trimble Forum at 12 p.m. Several Loggers will shave their heads, courtesy of Head Case Salon Tacoma. As of noon March 1, the Loggers have raised $8,100.
Among the Loggers leading the initiative is Louisa Cryan. Her battle with leukemia was featured in the Seattle Times (click HERE).
