  • SAAC hosts Special Olympics Field Day

    In one of the most popular annual events for Puget Sound athletics, the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) hosted the Metro Parks Tacoma Special Olympics on Monday, April 17. Special Olympians competed in basketball, kickball, and soccer with the support of Logger student-athletes from all 23 varsity teams.

    Puget Sound celebrates Division III Week (April 3-9) by sharing the stories of five student-athletes from various teams, classes, and backgrounds. Such stories are made possible by the Logger Club, which celebrates its 50th anniversary during the 2016-17 academic year. The Logger Club Members provide essential financial assistance to ensure a quality experience for Logger teams through unrestricted and restricted giving. Gifts provide necessary funds for equipment, nonconference travel, video streaming, recruitment, and the Loggers' important awards and recognition program. Click HERE to get involved.

    Senior safety Jacob Wuesthoff has been named to the All-West Region Second Team, D3football.com announced this week. Wuesthoff is the fifth Logger in program history to be named to an All-West Region team by D3football.com (Isaac Blum, Adam Kniffin, Steve Martin, Alverno Middleton).
