Winning at home

Puget Sound is 3-0 at home this season. The Class of 2018 has 10 home wins through the past four seasons.

Defensive efforts

Despite a 23-0 loss at No. 8 Linfield last week, Puget Sound continued its strong defensive efforts against the Wildcats. Puget Sound forced two turnovers (Jason Clayton interception, Max Washam fumble recovery), sacked the quarterback six times, and notched 13 tackles behind the line of scrimmage. Clayton is tied for the league-lead in interceptions (three), and Braden Ash is tied for the second-most sacks (six).

Turnover margin

The Loggers are +3 in the turnover margin, and their 20 forced turnovers on defense is the second-highest total in the NWC.

Catch 'em all

Senior wide receiver Dustin Harrison leads the conference in receptions with 52, and his 583 receiving yards rank second.

Diebold nearing 2K

Senior quarterback Tanner Diebold is second in the NWC for passing yards with 1,972 this season. He has thrown for at least 300 yards in four games this fall.

Scouting George Fox (6-3, 4-2 NWC)

The Bruins were ranked No. 25 in the D3football.com Top 25 before a 13-3 loss at home against Pacific Lutheran last week knocked George Fox out of the rankings. Earlier this season, George Fox nearly upset Linfield (Oct. 21), but the Wildcats prevailed by scoring all of their points on field goals in a 12-6 win. Quarterback Grant Schreoder has the second-most rushing touchdowns in the NWC (seven), and he ranks second in passing touchdown (18). Defensively, Caleb Dalzell leads the NWC in sacks (7.5), and Charles Riga is the league-leader in tackles (107).
