Teats to receive hardware from NCAA

TACOMA, Washington - Sophomore defensive back Zackary Teats is to receive a plaque from the NCAA to announce that he is the 2017 NCAA D-III Statistical Champion for passes defended per game (2.7).

Teats was named to the All-Northwest Conference Second Team following the 2017 season. Fellow defensive back Jason Clayton finished the season with 2.6 passes defended per game - and he, too, was named to the All-NWC Second Team.

In addition to his prowess on the field and in the classroom, Teats is the President of the Puget Sound Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
