Loggers Tee Off At NCAA DIII Championship
PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. - After over two weeks of waiting, the Puget Sound Loggers tee off at the 2009 NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championship on Wednesday morning at the PGA Club in Port St. Lucie, Fla. The Loggers are scheduled to hit the course at 7:30 a.m. EDT.
This marks the second time in three seasons that the Loggers are playing as a team at the national championship. In 2007, the Loggers tied for 17th at the tournament in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. This year, the Loggers are a bit further southeast as they are one of 27 teams playing for the hardwear.
After the early morning wake-up call, the Loggers will get to sleep in a little bit longer on Tuesday morning as they are set to tee off the second round at Noon EDT. Tee-times for the third and fourth rounds will be set following the earlier rounds based on the standings.
