LACEY, Wash. - Senior Jordan Hodge (Tucson, Ariz.) shot a three-over 75 to finish tied for 20th place with a five-over 149 at the final round of the St. Martin's Invitational on Saturday at The Golf Club at Hawks Prairie in Lacey, Wash.
Senior Marc Phillips (Boise, Idaho/Timberline) shot a seven-over 79 on the second day to tie for 56th in the 100 golfer field with a 12-over 156. Greg Kirkpatrick (Longview, Wash./Mark Morris) shot 78 on Saturday to finish in a tie for 58th with a 13-over 157 while Riley Conlin (Golden Valley, Minn./Breck) shot a 78 to tie for 67th with a 15-over 159. Collin Wulff (Albany, Ore./West Albany) improved by one stroke over Friday, carding an eight-over 80 to finish tied for 80th with a 17-over 161.
The Loggers as a team shot 309 on Saturday to finish tied with Hawaii-Hilo for 13th place with a 45-over 621. Puget Sound finished ahead of Simon Fraser, Whitworth, Northwest Nazarene and Dominican.
Host Saint Martin's won the team title with a seven-over 583, including an outstanding four-under 284 on the final day. Zach Dietz of St. Martin's won individual medalist honors, carding a three-under 69 to finish four-under for the tournament.
The Loggers will be back in action on Oct. 11-12 when they participate in the NWC North Tournament at Oakbrook Country Club in Lakewood, Wash.
