Dustin Hegge fired a 69 to lead Pacific Lutheran past Puget Sound, 304-312, in a men's golf dual held Sunday afternoon at Fort Lewis Golf Club.
Derek Wilson carded a 75 to lead the Loggers, whose other counting scorers were Riley Conlin with a 78, Nick Kelley with a 79, and Andy Bingle with an 80. Matt Kitto and Collin Wulff both scored an 82.
Hegge shot 36-33 to best the competition by six strokes. Scott Zhang scored a 76, followed by Daron Casey at 77 and Tim Livermore with an 82 to round out the PLU scorers.
Other Lutes players included Auston Hiliker with an 83 and Sam Hodge with an 84.
The Loggers head to the St. Martin's Invitational next weekend to continue their fall schedule.
