Women Win Logger Invite, Men Take Second

FIRCREST, Wash. - A career-best 77 from junior Sarah Bicker (Salt Lake City, Utah/Skyline) helped lead the Puget Sound Logger women to victory by nearly 40 strokes at the Puget Sound Invitational on Thursday and Friday at Fircrest Golf Club in Fircrest, Wash. The Logger men also played two strong rounds, taking second behind a talented Linfield team.

The top golfer for the Loggers in 2008-09, Jordan carried an average of 78.3 strokes per round as Puget Sound had one of the top seasons in school history. "I knew Puget Sound was a great small school in a part of the country that I really liked. I also knew I would be able to continue to compete, which was important to me."
