TACOMA, Washington – Puget Sound men's basketball senior Kohl Meyer was named to the All-Northwest Conference Second Team, the NWC announced on Tuesday.
Meyer finished the season ranked second in the conference in both assists (4.4) and steals (2.1) per game. He finished fourth in the NWC in both rebounds per game (8.0) and field-goal percentage (55.8 percent).
The San Diego, California, native totaled nine double-doubles during the 2016-17 season, and he flirted with a triple-double several times. In the first game of the season, Meyer finished with 15 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists, and seven steals against Northwest Indian.
Meyer opened conference play with 10 points, seven rebounds, and eight assists against Linfield. Against No. 2 Whitman later in the season, Meyer shot 8-for-12 from the floor for 18 points, to go along with 10 rebounds and six assists.
Meyer was an All-NWC First Team honoree following the 2015-16 season.
