Loggers Earn All-Academic Distinction From NSCAA

KANSAS CITY, Kan. – The Puget Sound men's soccer team recently earned the distinction of an All-Academic team from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America for the 2011-12 school year.

The NSCAA annually recognizes soccer teams across the nation for their work in the classroom. In order to earn the distinction, teams must have above a 3.0 GPA for an entire school year.

In the 2011-12 school year, the Loggers posted a team 3.09 GPA. They are one of 227 college soccer teams spanning all three divisions of the NCAA to earn the All-Academic status. A total of 741 college soccer men's and women's teams posted a 3.0 GPA or better in 2011-12.

Our school's athletic program has a proud history and every day we continue that story.”
