Men's tennis falls to Division-I Portland St. in season-opener

VANCOUVER, Washington – The Puget Sound men's tennis team opened its 2018 against a tough opponent, but the Loggers lost to NCAA Division-I Portland State, 7-0, at Club Green Meadows Friday afternoon.

Results

Riley Inn won a game in the second set, but he was eventually down, 6-0, 6-1, at No. 2 singles Inn teamed up with his doubles partner from a year ago, Joe McRoberts, at No. 1 doubles, but the pair lost, 8-1.

Ben Colson and Joshua Wah-Blumberg won two games at No. 2 doubles, but the Vikings prevailed, 8-2.

The Loggers open Northwest Conference play at Lewis & Clark, Saturday, Feb. 3, at 11 a.m.
