Loggers Season Ends In First Round of NWC Tournament

YAKIMA, Wash. - After earning the sixth seed in a very talented Northwest Conference men's tennis tournament, the Puget Sound Loggers bowed out in the first round, falling to the third-seeded Willamette Bearcats, 5-0, on Friday at the Yakima Tennis Club.

FOREST GROVE, Ore. - In a match that could go a long way in determining the final spot at next week's Northwest Conference Championships, the Pacific Boxers just edged the Puget Sound Loggers, 5-4, in a NWC men's tennis match on Friday in Forest Grove, Ore.

TACOMA, Wash. - Taking on their cross-town rivals, the Puget Sound Loggers put together some competitive matches but ultimately couldn't get over the hump, falling to the Pacific Lutheran Lutes, 8-1, in a Northwest Conference men's tennis match on Wednesday evening in Tacoma.

TACOMA, Wash. - Heading into singles play up by a point, the Puget Sound Loggers collected wins in five of six positions as they defeated the George Fox Bruins, 7-2, in a Northwest Conference men's tennis match on Saturday at UPS Tennis Pavilion in Tacoma, Wash.
