Loggers & Boxers "Winded" Out

Courtesty of Pacific Sports Information

PASCO, Wash. - Pacific and Puget Sound managed to get one batter into the game before seeing their softball doubleheader called on account of high winds Sunday at the Pasco Sports Complex.

At the time of the first pitch, winds in the area were coming in from the southwest at 33 miles per hour. Pacific head coach Tim Hill estimated gusts at 40 to 50 miles per hour.

The two teams expect to make the two Northwest Conference games. A date, however, has yet to be determined.

A second-team All-NWC selection as a freshman, Aryn is another in a long line of talented middle infielders to play for Puget Sound. In addition to her skills in the infield, she is the Loggers number two pitcher in the circle. "I choose Puget Sound because the university provides student-athletes with the ability to succeed after college."
