Puget Sound falls twice at Pacific Lutheran

PARKLAND, Washington – The Puget Sound softball team lost both ends of a doubleheader at Pacific Lutheran Friday afternoon, 9-1 and 10-0. Both games went five innings. 

During the first game, Marissa Oda but the Loggers on the board in the top of the first inning with an RBI single that scored Hailee Ueyama

Kaitlyn Webster led off the fourth inning with a double, and Jessica Shimoda immiediately followed with a single to put runners on the corners with nobody out. However, the next three Loggers were retired in order. 

Puget Sound celebrates seniors Mckenna Johnson and Jessica Shimoda during Puget Sound's Senior Day Saturday, April 20. First pitch is scheduled for 12 p.m. at Logger Field.
