CJ Martin returns to the Puget Sound softball program for the 2017 season. She works primarily with the infielders and catchers. This is Martin's 10th year of coaching, including stints at Wesleyan College, Woodinville High School, and Puget Sound.
A Woodinville, Washington native, Martin played collegiatey at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. Martin was a four-year starter at catcher and shortstop, and helped lead her team to the conference tournament three out of four years.
While on her three year hiatus from Puget Sound, Martin completed her Masters in Teaching from the University of Puget Sound. She has since been teaching fourth grade in Seattle, and now in Tacoma.
