Logger Pair Named Academic All-District
TACOMA, Wash. - Just a few days after receiving their undergraduate degrees, a pair of Puget Sound Loggers have been honored for their academic success as seniors Garrett Gentling (Shoreline, Wash./Shorewood) and Megan Roosen-Runge (Freeland, Wash./South Whidbey) have been named First Team Academic All-District by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Logger Women Reclaim NWC Crown
FEDERAL WAY, Wash. - The Puget Sound Loggers held on to the Northwest Conference women's swimming championship for 11 years before the 2008 meet. On Sunday night, the Loggers recaptured the hardware for their 12th title in the last 13 years. The Loggers men also had an outstanding meet, finishing second to Whitworth.

TACOMA, Wash. - If anything was learned on Saturday, it will be that the 2009 Northwest Conference Championships will be an exciting three-days as the Whitworth Pirates pulled past the Puget Sound Loggers in the final NWC dual of the season for both squads. The Pirate men defeated the Loggers, 116-89, while the Whitworth women collected a 130-75 victory.
