TACOMA, Wash. - Resuming the Northwest Conference dual season, the Puget Sound Loggers swept past the Pacific Boxers in a NWC swim dual on Saturday afternoon at Wallace Pool in Tacoma. The Loggers men won 125-62 and the UPS women won 123-68.
The Logger men won seven of 11 events, using their depth to collect the big win. Six individual swimmers collected wins for the Loggers, as did the 400 Meter Medley Relay team.
On the women's side, the Loggers finished first in 10 of 11 events on the afternoon. Freshman Shannon Bradley (Sherwood, Ore.) was the lone dual-event winner for the Loggers, taking first in both the 800 Meter Free and the 200 Meter Fly.
The Loggers head down to Portland next Saturday to swim against Lewis & Clark in the final road dual for the Loggers this season.
