Loggers Take Fourth At Relay Meet

PORTLAND, Ore. – The Puget Sound swim teams jumped back into the waters of competition today at the Northwest Conference Relays. The Loggers placed fourth out of the eight NWC teams with 70 points.

The NWC Relays feature a schedule of nontraditional relay events, including mixed gender events and 300 and 600 yard events.

The Logger women brought home the only event win for the Loggers. Melissa Norrish, Mariah Snowden and Auri Clark combined for a 3:05.07 to win the 300 fly relay.

The men's team turned in three runner up performances to highlight the day. The men finished second in the 600 free relay, the 300 back relay and the 300 fly relay.

The Loggers begin their dual meet season next weekend when they host Pacific on Friday at 6 p.m.
