Puget Sound swim teams take fourth at NWC Championships

FOREST GROVE, Oregon – The Puget Sound men's and women's swim teams both placed fourth in the 2015 Northwest Conference Championships, which concluded on Sunday.

The women finished with 410 points through 36 events, and the men totaled 437 points. Pacific Lutheran won the women's title, and Whitman won the men's titles.  

Keven Henley and Mitch Kilgore tied for third in the men's 100 freestyle with times of 46.63. Henley, Kilgore, Matt Goldberg, and Clayton Jacobson led the 400 freestyle relay team a second-place finish by timing in at 3:05.40.

Melissa Norrish placed second in the 200 butterfly by timing in at 2:07.02, and made the NCAA B-cut. She also helped the women's 400 freestyle relay team comprised of Melisa Keegans, Alex Koga, Michaela Metzler place third with a time of 3:35.76.
