TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound swim teams returned to Wallace Pool for the first time in over a month, but both Loggers squads lost to Pomona-Pitzer on Saturday afternoon. The Puget Sound men lost, 250-87, and the Logger women fell to the Sagehens, 253-83.
David Olson won the 100-yard backstroke for the Puget Sound men, timing in at 55.27. Adrian Hui was also victorious in the 50 butterfly, with a time of 23.66. Dylan Reimers (2:05.27) and Connor King (2:07.82) finished second and third, respectively, in the 200 backstroke.
The Logger women claimed second and third in the 200 butterfly. Calista Skog touched the wall in 2:19.01, and Kelli Callahan finished in 2:28.75. Skog also took second in the 100 freestyle (55.71). Anne Shirey claimed first place in the 50 breaststroke by timing in at 32.33.
The Logger teams return to action when they host Whitman on Friday, Jan. 20, at 6 p.m.
