PORTLAND, Oregon – The Puget Sound men's and women's swim teams dominated their first dual of the season at Lewis & Clark Friday night. The Logger men beat the Pioneers, 112-93, and the women were victorious, 119-86.
Both Puget Sound men's and women's 400-yard medley relay teams took first place. Kassidy Cook, Kelli Callahan, Calista Skog, and Kayla DiMicco timed in at 4:06.76. On the men's side, Dylan Reimers, Ian Conery, Justin Sasano, and Ethan Done finished in 3:39.41.
Sydni Resnick won the women's 1,000-freestyle (11:17.91), and Nick Mitchel won the men's 1,000-freestyle (10:26.25). Reimers took first place in two men's individual events: the 200-freestyle (1:47.86) and the 200-backstroke (2:02.22). Callahan won the women's 200-IM (2:09.87) and the 200-breastroke (2:27.05).
Skog won the women's 200-butterfly by touching the wall in 2:15.19.
Puget Sound has a quick turnaround with an 11 a.m. dual at Pacific on Saturday, Nov. 4.
