TACOMA, Washington – Kelli Callahan was named the Northwest Conference Women's Swimming Student-Athlete of the Week for the third time this season.
Callahan took first place in all six of her events between duals at Whitman and Whitworth this past weekend. Against the Blues (Jan. 19), the sophomore won the 200-yard IM (2:10.89), 200-butterfly (2:17.51), and was a member of the first-place 400-medley relay team (4:09.13).
The Aspen, Colorado, native kept it going against the Pirates the following day. Callahan won the 200-freestyle (1:59.34), 400-IM (4:43.77), and the 100-breaststroke (1:07.31).
Callahan was previously named NWC Student-Athlete of the Week Dec. 4 and Jan. 15.
Puget Sound hosts Pacific Lutheran, Saturday, Jan. 27, at 1 p.m.
