TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound swim teams celebrate their four senior swimmers when the Loggers host Pacific Lutheran, Saturday, Jan. 27, at 1 p.m. for the final home dual of the 2017-18 season.
Puget Sound will honor Kayla DiMicco, Cody Dodge, Melisa Kegans, and Nick Mitchell before the first race Saturday. DiMicco was a five-time All-NWC Second Team honoree last year, and Kegans earned three All-NWC Second Team honors. Nick Mitchell was a conference champion in the 800-freestyle relay last season, and he added three more all-conference honors.

Kelli Callahan earned her third Northwest Conference Student-Athlete of the Week honor, the conference announced earlier this week. She won all six of her events at Whitman and at Whitworth last week. Click HERE for more details.
The Logger women and Pacific Lutheran are tied atop the NWC standings with 4-0 dual records. Whitman is 3-1, while Linfield and Whitworth follow with 2-2 records. Lewis & Clark is 1-3, and Pacific and Willamette are winless (0-4). On the men's side, Puget Sound is tied with Whitman for the second-best record (3-1). Pacific Lutheran and Whitworth are both 4-0. Linfield is 2-2, and three teams are 0-4: Lewis & Clark, Pacific, Willamette.
The Northwest Conference Championships are scheduled for Feb. 9-11, at Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatics Center in Federal Way, Washington. The Logger women placed third in the 2016-17 championships, while the men finished fifth.
