Record-setting Callahan named Logger of the Week

TACOMA, Washington – Sophomore Kelli Callahan broke a 26-year-old school record to earn Logger Club Logger of Week.

During Puget Sound's dual against Pacific Lutheran, Jan. 27, Callahan finished the 200-yard IM in 2:07.25, topping Ronda Blair's 1992 record-setting time of 2:08.48.

In addition to winning the 200-IM, Callahan won three more races against the Lutes: 100-breaststroke (1:06.54), 500-freestyle (5:08.33), and the 200-medley relay (1:50.97).

The Loggers next compete in the Northwest Conference Championships, Feb. 9-11, in Weyerhaeuser Aquatics Center in Federal Way, Washington.
