Track & Field At Buc Scoring Invite

SPOKANE, Wash. - Taking on the best that Spokane had to offer, the Puget Sound Loggers held their own on Saturday at the Buc Scoring Invite, hosted by Whitworth University.

On the women's side, the Loggers lone victory came in the 10,000m run as Marnie Hazlehurst (Portland,Ore./St. Mary's) took first with a time of 42:52.30 to hold off Adrienne Ritchie of Whitworth by one second.

On the men's side, seniors Darrell Stewart (Long Beach, Calif./Loyola) and Isaac Blum (Rancho Santa Fe, Calif./Torrey Pines) went one-two in the 100m dash.  Stewart won the event with a time of 11.27 while Blum covered the track in 11.47.

The Loggers return home on April 4 as they play host to the JD Shotwell Invitational at Baker Stadium in Tacoma, Wash. beginning at 10:00 a.m.
