Higa first, King second at St. Martin's Invitational

OLYMPIA, Washington – The Puget Sound men's and women's track & field teams competed at the St. Martin's Invitational on Saturday. The Loggers finished with one individual win from Justin Higa in the men's 3000-m steeplechase.

Results

Higa won the 3000-m steeplechase in 9:54.77, just ahead of a runner from Central Washington.

On the women's side, Elizabeth King set a new personal-best in the pole vault. She placed second in the event, clearing 3.53-m (11'7").
