PULLMAN, Washington – Emery Bradlina and Matt Wells both broke Puget Sound records during the Washington State Open Indoor Meet on Saturday afternoon.
Bradlina broke her own school record in the 800-m by timing in at 2:17.22. That mark is currently fourth in NCAA D-III. She placed third overall in Saturday's race.
Wells finished the 60-m hurdles in 8.44 seconds, besting the previous mark of 9.11 seconds held by Ryan Dumm (2004). He finished seventh in the race. Wells also tied for seventh out of 34 finishers in the men's long jump on Saturday, clearing a distance of 6.59-m (21'7.5"). That mark is second best in Logger history.
