PULLMAN, Washington – Matthew Wells and Emery Bradlina continue to impress during Puget Sound's indoor track & field season, as both had standout performances during the Cougar Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
Wells set the Puget Sound men's record in the 60-m hurdles when he was the first to cross the finish line with a time of 8.43 seconds. Bradlina finished the 400-m dash in 100:50 (fifth overall), which ranks second all-time among Puget Sound women.
Bradlina also placed third in the 800-m run with a time of 2:18.30. Logan Bays placed 20th overall in the women's 60-m dash with a time of 8.18 seconds. Anna Joseph was 15th in the women's 200-m dash by cross the finish line in 28.10 seconds.
On the men's side, Sean Barnes was 15th in the 200-m dash (24.95), and Isaac Fournier was ninth in the 800-m run (2:00.41). Liam Monaghan placed 8th in the 3,000-m run (9:32.19).
The Puget Sound track & field teams are next scheduled to compete in the Husky Classic on Saturday, Feb. 11.
