Continuing to clear hurdles, Wells breaks own school record

SEATTLE, Washington - Sophomore Matt Wells broke his own school record in the 60-m hurdles by crossing the finish line in 8.31 seconds during preliminaries of the UW Invitational Saturday afternoon. He finished seventh overall in the event, with a time of 8.35 seconds. 

Last week, Wells matched his school record of 8.43 seconds during the Washington State Indoor Open (Jan. 20). He initially achieved the 8.43 time in Pullman, Washington, Feb. 2017. 

Emery Bradlina competed in the women's 800-m during the UW Invitational. She finished in 2:18.25, which was good for 41st overall.
