Loggers earn several top-five finishes at Cougar Invitational

PULLMAN, Washington – The Puget Sound men's and women's indoor track & field teams earned several top-five finishes in the Cougar Indoor Invitational hosted by Washington State Saturday afternoon.

In men's competition, the 4x400-m relay team comprised of Jesten Moya, Matt Wells, Gunnar Schultz, and Isaac Fournier placed fourth overall (3:32.71), beating out Washington State's 'A' team. Wells also placed fifth in the 60-m hurdles by crossing the finish line in 8.51 seconds.

Terra Wildon finished in second place in the women's 800-m run, timing in at 2:28.24. Samantha Schaffer also claimed a second-placed finish when she finished the 3,000-m run in 10:33.29.

The Loggers are scheduled to next compete in the Husky Classic Saturday, Feb. 10, in Seattle.
