Nine Loggers receive USTFCCCA All-West Region honors

TACOMA, Washington – Nine Puget Sound track & field student-athletes earned All-West Region honors, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced this week. Five Logger women and four Logger men were selected by the USTFCCCA.

On the women's side, Emery Bradlina earned All-West Region honors in the 400-m run, 800-m run, and mile run. Rachael Metzler and Terra Wildon earned All-West Region in the Distance Medley Relay, as did Samantha Schaffer and Alison Wise. Schaffer is also an All-West Region honoree in the 3,000-m run, and Wise earned a nod in the 800-m run. 

Isaac Fournier and Matt Wells both earned two All-West Region honors. Fournier is a recipient in the 800-m run and the mile run, while Wells earned the honors in the 60-m hurdles and the long jump. Jesten Moya got the nod in the long jump, and AJ Johnson in the triple jump.

Bradlina is set to compete in the NCAA D-III Track & Field Championships, March 9-10, in Birmingham, Alabama. She will be running in the 800-m.
