Puget Sound track & field claims six All-NWC honors

McMINNVILLE, OregonMatt Wells is a Northwest Conference Champion, and the Puget Sound Track & Field program captured six All-NWC honors in five events during the NWC Championships at Linfield Saturday.

Results 

Wells won the league title in the men's 110-m hurdles, finishing the race in 15.14 seconds. He also claimed an All-NWC honor in the decathlon, placing third with 6,263 points.

Jack Monaghan took third in the men's 800-m by timing in at 1:57.53, good for an All-NWC bid.

Alison Wise earned an All-NWC honor in the women's 800-m. She crossed the finish line in 2:17.58, good for third place.

Alvin Johnson claimed second place in the men's triple jump for an All-NWC honor. He cleared 13.56 meters. Brandin Porter garnered an All-NWC nod in the men's discus, clearing 43.59-m for a second-place finish.
