First of all…

Two weeks ago in the Loggers' Ed Boitano Invitational, Ryan Sutherland and Jack Monaghan finished one-two in the men's 400-m dash. Sutherland crossed the finish line in 52.08 seconds, and Monoghan timed in at 52.53 seconds.
2018 All-NWC honoree AJ Johnson made his 2019 debut in the Pacific Lutheran Invitational last week. He placed second in the men's triple with a distance of 13.38-m. Johnson is also an All-American football student-athlete, and he is a member of the 2018-19 men's basketball team that earned a bid for the Northwest Conference Tournament.
