TACOMA, Washington – In addition to earning Logger of the Week, Matt Wells received the Northwest Conference Men's Track Student-Athlete of the Week honor.
Wells is the second Puget Sound track & field student-athlete to earn a conference accolade during the 2019 outdoor season (Jack Monaghan).
Wells ran the Northwest Conference's fastest 110m hurdles during Jay Hammer Meet hosted by St. Marin's (April 13), and the Puyallup, Washington native has been named the Logger Club Logger of the Week.
Wells cross the finish line in 14.71 seconds, which is currently the 12th-best time in the NCAA D-III this season. He is the reigning NWC Champion in the event.
The Logger men and women next compete in the Lewis & Clark Invitational, April 20.
