Loggers net seven goals in loss vs. Linfield

TACOMA, Washington –The Puget Sound women's lacrosse team lost to the Linfield Wildcats, 13-7, Saturday afternoon on Peyton Field.

The Loggers came out strong in the first half and stayed neck and neck with the Wildcats in the first 15 minutes, tallying two goals by Izzy Amaya and Hannah Nichols.

Linfield began to pull ahead before halftime, leading 8-2 after the first 30 minutes.

Puget Sound got on the board first in the second half with a goal in the first seven minutes by Ali Walker.

Walker notched two more goals throughout the half, Ella Frazer and Deryn Gersoff also netted a goal each.  

The Loggers remain at home to take on George Fox, Sunday, April 8, at 1p.m.
