Puget Sound lacrosse to honor trio Saturday

TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound lacrosse program celebrates three of its student-athletes in the final home game of 2018, Saturday, April 14. The Loggers host Pacific on Peyton Field for a 1 p.m. Northwest Conference game.

The trio

Before Saturday's contest, Puget Sound will honor Isabel Amaya, Ella Frazer, Kathryn Hart, and their families and loved ones.


Beating the Boxers

Puget Sound earned its first victory of the season at Pacific, 11-10, March 10. Ella Frazer scored a team-high three goals and added an assist. Ali Walker netted the game-winning goal for the Loggers with 1:21 left on the clock.


Scouting Pacific (0-9, 0-6 NWC)

Roya Tahmassebi is the Boxers' leading scorer with 14 goals, and Jordyn Godfrey has a team-high 17 draw controls. Ariel Watanabe has started all nine games between the pipes, and she has a 46.8 save percentage.

The 2018 season comes to a close at Whitman, April 22.
