Lange earns second NWC weekly honor

TACOMA, Washington – Puget Sound women's soccer goalkeeper Jamie Lange earned Northwest Conference Student-Athlete of the Week (defense) for the second time this season, the NWC announced Monday.

Lange and the Logger defense held Northwest Conference opponents scoreless as Puget Sound picked up four points in the NWC standings during Homecoming and Family Weekend. Puget Sound and Willamette reached scoreless tie on Saturday (Oct. 7), but the Loggers were victorious over Pacific, 2-0, the following day.

Lange leads the NWC with 61 saves, she is second for both goals-against average (0.66) and save percentage (.884).

The Loggers are on the road this weekend, starting with a 7 p.m. match at Linfield on Friday, Oct. 13, at 7 p.m.
