TACOMA, Washington – For the third time this fall, Jamie Lange is the Northwest Conference Women's Soccer Student-Athlete of the Week (defense), the league announced this week.
Lange posted consecutive shutouts as the Loggers beat Pacific Lutheran (Oct. 18) and Lewis & Clark (Oct. 21). Lange needed six saves in a 1-0 win over the Lutes, and just one save in a 4-0 win over the Pioneers. She was also named the Logger Club Logger of the Week on Monday.
With an 8-2-2 conference record, the third-place Loggers trail Pacific Lutheran (10-2) and Whitworth (10-1-1) in the NWC standings. Puget Sound hosts the league's first-place team on Saturday, Oct. 28, at 12 p.m.
