PARKLAND, Washington – A bad pass in the Puget Sound backfield quickly turned into a Pacific Lutheran goal as the Loggers lost to the Lutes, 1-0, at Pacific Lutheran Wednesday evening.

Pacific Lutheran (12-3-4, 11-2-2 NWC) intercepted a pass in the middle of the field, less than 25 yards from the goal, and from there the Lutes needed just a couple of touches to score from 18-yards out in the 54th minute.

Puget Sound (12-5-2, 11-2-2 NWC) mustered four shots on goal during the game, half of which came in the final seven minutes of regulation.

The Loggers close out the regular season at Linfield Sunday, Nov. 4, for a 12 p.m. kickoff.
