Logger tennis teams fall to Colorado College

TACOMA, Washington – Both the Puget Sound men's and women's tennis teams lost at home against Colorado College on Tuesday. The Logger men fell to the Tigers, 9-0, and later in the night the Logger women lost, 8-1.

Playing at No. 4 singles, Jacob Kompolt won his first set, 6-2, but then lost his next two sets (6-1, 12-10). Joe McRoberts and Riley Inn teamed up for a battle at No. 1 doubles, but their Colorado College counterparts came through with an 8-6 win.

On the women's side, Nicole Bouche and Lisa Owen continued their dominant doubles season with an 8-6 win at No. 2 doubles. In singles competition, Elizabeth Chao lost two sets by a narrow margin (6-4, 6-4) in the No. 1 slot. 

The Puget Sound men compete at Whitworth on Saturday, March 25, at 9 a.m. The women are off for a couple of weeks before playing at Whitman on April 8.
