#20 Loggers Set For First Round Rematch With Regals

INDIANAPOLIS - For the third straight season, the 20th-ranked Puget Sound Loggers have earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Division III Women's Volleyball Championship and for the second straight season, they will face off against Cal Lutheran in the first round.

The Loggers (18-6, 12-4 Northwest Conference) meet the Regals (20-11, 11-3 Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) at 2:00 p.m. PST on Thursday in the first round of the tournament for the second straight season.  In 2008, Cal Lutheran collected a three-set sweep in a match played at the University of La Verne.

Facing the winner of the match between Puget Sound and Cal Lutheran will be top-seed Colorado College.  The Tigers (33-4, 12-2 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference) earned the lone bye in the region.

On the other side of the regional bracket, Pacific Lutheran (20-6, 16-0 NWC) will face off against La Verne (21-13, 10-4 SCIAC) at 4:00 p.m. PST.  The winner of that match will play the winner of the final match between Chapman (18-13) and host Redlands (22-5, 12-2 SCIAC), which is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. PST.

Admission to the matches is $5 for adults, $4 for students with current school identification, $3 for children ages 3-12, and free for kids 2 and under.

The winner of the West Regional will meet the winner of the Central Regional on November 19 in University Heights, Ohio.
