Logger Volleyball Invited Back Into NCAA Tournament

Complete Bracket

INDIANAPOLIS – The Puget Sound volleyball team is headed back to the NCAA Tournament. The Loggers will head to Thousand Oaks, Calif. for their regional and will face Colorado College in the first round.

The Loggers received an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament for the fifth time in the last six years after finishing second in the Northwest Conference in 2012 with a 19-5 overall record and a 13-3 record in conference matches.

The Loggers will face a somewhat familiar opponent in Colorado College. The two teams met on Sep. 30 for a neutral site match in Portland, Ore. The Loggers came away with the four-set victory.

The winner of the Loggers and Colorado College match will face the winner of the Pacific Lutheran/Chapman match. On the other side of the bracket, La Verne will play Hardin-Simmons and the host Cal Lutheran will play Southwestern.

The Loggers first match will be played on Friday but match times will be set later. Check back to LoggerAthletics.com for more information as it becomes available.
